Intended Audience

The targeted audience of your presentation should be designed for participants who work in any of the following grade levels/fields:

  • Primary (PreK – 2)
  • Elementary (3-5)

  1. One-to-One Computing:  Research shows that access to technology raises student engagement and achievement.  Learn what happens when you create an enviornment for learning by putting access to technology in the hands of every student.
  2. 21st Century Skills:  New techniques in assistive technology, teaching and learning on-line and with the DDN, handhelds in education, and other technology and non-technology based learning
  3. Educational Leadership/Administrators:  Scientifically based research that supports NCLB, assessment and the latest in technology planning and funding, and scheduling options.
  4. Emerging Technologies:  Issues related to network security, supporting technology use and promoting information.
  5. Math/Science:  Creative ways to integrate technology into the math and science classroom at the elementary, middle and/or high school level, as well as interdisciplinary, cross-curricular ideas for teaching with technology.
  6. Language Arts/Social Studies:  Language Arts including reading resources and social studies technology integration at the elementary, middle and/or high school level, as well as interdisciplinary, cross-curricular ideas for teaching with technology.
  7. Technology across the curriculum:  Educators sharing classroom projects in computer science, music, art, foreign language, FACS, IT, PE, and other elective courses. Cross-curricular ideas using technology to enhance learning objectives.
